Narmadha Navaneethan is Associate director for Plays and basins group at S&P Global Commodity Insights

Narmadha, Associate Director for the North America Plays and basins group at S&P Global Commodity Insights, is responsible for developing and maintaining tools for forecasting US oil and gas supply forecast. She has more than 15 years of experience in analyzing and modeling data. She specializes in US unconventionals, covering well performance data, production volumes, economics, supply cost curves, resource estimates, and contributes to various industry trend reports.

Prior to joining S&P Global, Narmadha worked with Stratas Advisors, a Hart Energy company, where she was responsible for providing insights on US unconventional plays. She has authored many reports on shale plays and competitive analysis of operators in the unconventional plays. Ms. Navaneethan holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, India, and an MBA from the C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston, United States.
