Mirzi Moralde is a senior specialist with 16 years’ market experience covering the Middle East Gulf offshore construction vessels involved in oil and gas field development and maintenance projects. Her focus spans from field discovery, engineering, procurement, construction, and installation to production phases. She provides market updates for Petrodata’s FieldsBase, ConstructionVesselBase and FPSBase products and Petrodaily newsletters. She also contributes market briefs and analyses for Petrodata’s Offshore Field Development Monthly publication and quarterly day rate report.

Based in Dubai since 2006, she joined ODS-Petrodata in 2008, which was acquired by IHS Markit in 2011. Prior to joining Petrodata, she has a decade of combined experience in TV news and print media in the Philippines and in Dubai.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication major in Broadcast from the University of the Philippines Diliman and a postgraduate certificate in Investigative Research from the Asian Institute of Management Hills Governance Center and the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism in Makati City, Philippines.
