Shaunagh Rae Maxine Moodie

Solar Analyst, Clean Energy Technology Team

Shaunagh Moodie is a solar research analyst with the Clean Energy Technology team at S&P Global Commodity Insights, currently focusing on solar photovoltaic markets, specifically inverter market supply chain trends and downstream analysis for the Middle East and Africa regions.

Prior to joining S&P Global Commodity Insights, Shaunagh worked for the South African Reserve Bank as an economist in the Financial Stability Department. She was also a member of the Bank's Climate Finance Working Group which researched policy and data gaps; and established working relationships with international stakeholders to navigate the country's transition toward green finance. Her research on the SARB's role in the transition toward a greener financial system was published in the Bank's Financial Stability Review.

Shaunagh holds a first-class Master of Science in renewable energy and environmental finance from University College Dublin, Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School; a Bachelor of Commerce degree in economics, politics, and philosophy; and a Bachelor of Commerce Honors degree in economic science, both from the University of Cape Town, South Africa.
