Rakesh Mallela

Rakesh Mallela works as an RF Engineer with the Analytics team at Rootmetrics® by IHS Markit.

With more than a decade of experience in the telecom industry, Rakesh is responsible for competitive analysis, customer delivery and development of internal tools and processes. In 2019, He joined IHS Markit after 10 years of experience with industry leaders like Nokia and Verizon Wireless where He worked on Design, Testing and Optimization of LTE networks for major MNOs. Some of his significant DAS designs were deployed at venues like Coachella, LSU Tiger Stadium, and many more. Rakesh holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Manipal University, India.
