In his role with the US Economic Service, Mike oversees the state historical databanking, model development, and economic simulation capabilities of the Regional team. Additionally, his geographical areas of specialization include several states in the Northeast region, including Massachusetts, Maine, and Rhode Island, as well as the metropolitan statistical areas of those states. He tracks regional economic developments on a daily basis, and also handles interviews with media outlets across the Northeast regarding both national and local economic performance. He received his degree in Economics from Harvard College, US.
