Nick Lowes leads the Integrated Solutions consulting team within S&P Global Commodity Insights
Nick focuses on solving complex customer challenges by combining S&P Global Commodity Insights data, research and analytical capabilities to create high value solutions, which can be embedded in customer workflows. He has over 30 years of experience across a broad range of oil and gas company activities, working as an advisor to many national and international oil and gas companies and governments on issues ranging from national energy policy to E&P strategy development. His high value consulting assignments for global clients include investment and technology strategies, market analysis, project development plans and operational improvements. He has led reorganization and process re-engineering exercises, and has designed and implemented corporate-level and project-level management systems. He has worked with companies in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Russia, Central and East Asia and South America.
Nick was formerly a principal with Strategic Decision Group's oil and gas practice prior to its acquisition by S&P Global. Previously, he was a senior manager with the management consulting firm Arthur D Little Ltd., and spent 15 years in engineering and project management for major oil and gas projects where he held positions with both operators and engineering companies in UK, Australia, Malaysia and Oman. Mr. Lowes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Engineering Sciences from Cambridge University and a Master of Science in Engineering Geology from Imperial College, London University, both UK. He completed his MBA with the UK Open University Business School and he is a Member of the UK Energy Institute.
