Mike Longson is a research analyst with the Gas, Power, and EnergyFutures team at S&P Global Commodity Insights.
Mike leads global research on residential energy storage. He is responsible for tracking global energy storage installations and supporting the team's coverage of this quickly developing market. Prior to joining S&P Global, he was an operations controller for a gas and power management company based in Cambridge, United Kingdom, managing large gas and power portfolios across Europe for three years.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Engineering in chemical engineering from Heriot-Watt University, United Kingdom, and a Master of Science in renewable energy from Newcastle University, United Kingdom.
