Kevjn Lim is principal research analyst for Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Global Intelligence & Analytics, at S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Kevjn is principal research analyst for the Middle East and North Africa, and country lead on Iran and Israel, offering clients geostrategic, domestic political, and corporate security risk advice and forecasts. He also provides analytical products and bespoke briefings on the Palestinian Territories, Lebanon, Iraq, and Syria. In independent capacity, he has written or consulted for a range of publications, research institutions and think tanks. Kevjn was formerly a delegate with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) with postings in the Palestinian West Bank, Sudan's Darfur region, Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan, handling issues linked to the protection of the civilian population in the context of International Humanitarian Law, and networking with non-state actors and armed militias.
He has a Ph.D. in international relations and an MA in security studies, both from Tel Aviv University, and a BA (Hons. First Class) in political science and Middle East studies from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Kevjn is fluent in Arabic, Hebrew, Mandarin, Persian, French, Italian, and Spanish, and conversant in Romanian, Turkish and Portuguese.
