Hong Shien Lee

Hong Shien Lee, Associate Director for upstream content at S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Hong Shien has 30 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. She currently leads S&P Global Southeast and Northeast Asia upstream teams looking at E&P strategic content and market intelligence. Her past experience as a geoscientist includes reservoir analysis, seismic processing, working alongside NOCs, IOCs and governments on subsurface and data management projects. She was a technical team lead, managing consultant prior to moving to a regional services manager role.

Hong Shien has a BSC Hon degree in Geology and Physics, with minor in Mathematics, from Brock University (Ontario, Canada). She is a member of South East Asia Petroleum Exploration Society and American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
