Sidharth Kwatra, Emissions Technical Analyst, Center of Emissions Excellence, S&P Global Commodity Insights

Sidharth is based in Vancouver, Canada and is a member of the technical team within the Center of Emissions Excellence. Within the Center, Sidharth works on greenhouse gas estimates for a variety of different commodities from crude oil to hydrogen to ammonia to methanol. Sidharth is a Chemical Engineer by trade with a background in process engineering within the oil and gas sector. Past work experience includes optimizing refinery processes and refinery decarbonization, pioneering sustainable technologies, hydrogen production pathways and ammonia plant process design.

Sidharth possess a Master of Engineering Leadership degree in Clean Energy from the University of British Columbia. His interests are in sustainable energy development and low carbon commodities of the future.
