Diego Iscaro is the head of S&P Global Market Intelligence’s European macroeconomics team based in London

Diego coordinates the analysis and forecasts of the Western and Emerging European regions and is responsible for the coverage of many eurozone economies. A specialist in European economic and policy issues, Diego has taken a lead role in the presentation of key forecasts and themes to a broad spectrum of clients across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, including corporates, banks, and institutional and hedge fund-based portfolio managers. He is also a frequent participant at seminars and panel events, as well as a commentator on economic and financial issues.

Before joining S&P Global Market Intelligence, Diego worked as a risk analyst at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London, Coutts & Co. (London), and Citibank (Buenos Aires, Argentina).

Diego earned a master's degree in economics and a postgraduate certificate in economics with mathematics from Birkbeck College (London) and a degree in Economics from the Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina). He speaks fluent English and Spanish.
