Policy Analyst
Chris Horseman is an analyst of European and global agricultural and trade affairs with more than 30 years of experience at S&P Global Commodity Insights.
Chris specialist areas include the agri-food and agri-trade implications of Brexit, the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), and the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
After graduating from the University of Birmingham (UK), Chris worked for a period of time at the European Commission before joining Agra Europe as a Brussels Correspondent in 1987. Chris took up a senior editorial position in Agra Europe's UK office in 1991, and was Editorial Director from 2006 to 2017.
Since 2017 Chris has been a freelance journalist writing on agriculture and trade policy issues. He is a regular speaker and moderator at policy conferences and seminars, and has made numerous appearances on TV and radio news programmes, as well as hosting a regular trade policy podcast.
