Parag Goyal, based out of the India office, covers upstream oil & gas markets across Indian Sub Continent.

Parag has over five years of experience covering the region's upstream oil & gas activities. He has experience in the commercial analysis of upstream projects. Parag helps in regional market studies, competitor benchmarking, opportunity screenings and modelling future scenarios. He also provides insights on investment trends, pre-FID projects and frontier exploration.

Before joining S&P, Parag worked with Wood Mackenzie as a Research Analyst covering upstream markets of South East Asia and the Indian Sub Continent. He has also served as an Energy Consultant with CRISIL Ltd. (An S&P Company), where he developed gas demand analysis and feasibility studies of projects.

Parag holds a bachelor's in Applied Petroleum Engineering from UPES, Dehradun.
