Barclay's diverse knowledge of power industrial economics, power systems, planning and strategy, commercial due diligence, demand studies, price forecasting, and contemporary environmental and policy matters enables him to navigate all the key challenges facing power clients today.
Barclay has played a pivotal role in many influential studies within the power sector. He has critically assessed legislative and regulatory proposals aimed at curbing greenhouse gas emissions and regulatory initiatives designed to mitigate conventional and hazardous air pollution. He has led the power market simulations for several large-scale, inter-regional transmission economics studies.
As a natural collaborator, Barclay likes to work in partnership with his clients and sees each project as a joint effort to find the right solution. He brings his insight and expertise to quantify the decision-relevant risks and excels at simplifying complex issues.
