Shaohua currently serves as Director of S&P Global Commodity Insights Chemical Consulting Services based in Singapore responsible for leading and managing single-client studies. He joined S&P Global Commodity Insights Chemicals in April 2020 based in Singapore and has more than 20 years of experience in petrochemical and specialty chemical industry. Majority of that time was spent with A*STAR (Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore), Huntsman Performance Products, Shell Chemicals and Eastman Chemical in various commercial and strategy roles - R&D, business development, product management, marketing, sales and intelligence.

Shaohua's current consulting focus areas include conducting market assessment and competitive analysis on petrochemicals and specialty chemicals, formulating go-to-market strategies, feasibility evaluations of projects, structuring and reviews of feedstock supply & product portfolio.
