Antonio Dimabuyu leads our Asia Pacific upstream technical research teams specializing on market intelligence, asset valuation and E&P information at S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Antonio leads our Asia Pacific upstream technical research teams specializing on market intelligence, asset valuation and E&P information. He has worked for 18 years in the upstream energy industry. He has conducted and advised on upstream information sourcing, regional E&P trend analysis/outlook, country entry assessment, basin screening, exploration play analysis, company upstream strategy/portfolio evaluation, and field development/ valuation research. Antonio started as an asset geologist for Chevron, working on geothermal field exploration and development in the Philippines and Indonesia. He joined IHS Markit (Now a part of S&P Global) in 2007, initially handling field and basin focus research prior to moving to a regional management role.

Antonio has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University the Philippines. He is an active member of the South East Asia Petroleum Exploration Society.
