Pieter Devuyst is Agri-Food Policy Analyst at Agribusiness Intelligence.

Pieter analyses European agricultural, food and trade policies and writes daily articles on the latest developments in these fields. His main area of expertise is the EU's Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), but he also reports on a wide range of other agri-food policy topics and related trade and environmental issues. Before joining S&P Global Commodity Insights as a policy analyst, he worked as a researcher for the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), the European Parliament and the agricultural think tank Farm Europe.

Pieter has an MA in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe and an MSc in International Politics from Ghent University.
