Deya Das, Ph.D.

Deya Das is a senior research analyst in Automotive Supply Chain & Technology team in S&P Global Mobility.

Deya joined S&P Global Mobility, as a Senior Research Analyst in Automotive Supply Chain & Technology team in November, 2021. Based out of Gurgaon, India office, she is primarily responsible for research and forecasting of batteries by analyzing the technologies, key player relationships, and market trends in the battery domain in E-mobility.

Prior to joining S&P Global Mobility, Deya worked for three years in Energy Systems department in Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited, Bangalore, India, where she worked on electrochemical and electrical modelling of Li ion batteries to characterize and predict the cell behaviors for battery management system (BMS) applications in electric vehicles.

Deya received her Ph.D. degree from Materials Research Centre, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India for her thesis on Li storage studies in graphitic materials. She did her postdoctoral research in University of Connecticut and in Georgia Institute of Technology, USA.
