Hugo Cruz is a Senior Analyst at S&P Global Mobility in the Auto Battery Research Group. He is responsible for researching battery topics and its value chain for electric and hybrid vehicles.

Hugo accumulates more than a decade of work experience in the energy and electronics sectors, including roles in engineering, R&D, entrepreneurship, and public policy. He holds a MSc. degree in Sustainable Energy from the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). He also holds a bachelors' degree in Electronics Engineering from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), as well as certifications in project management, finance, and data analysis.
