Matthew Bax, Technical Director, Business Development at S&P Global Commodity Insights.
Matthew holds Master of Chemistry and Master of Management degrees from the University of Bath and a Bachelor of Applied Petroleum Engineering degree from SAIT in Calgary where he began his specialism in reservoir engineering.
He began his career working in the Canadian oil sands before joining Fekete in their Calgary office, working in the engineering support team. In 2014 Matthew moved to Brisbane to support clients with coal bed methane assets and travelled widely across Asia Pacific, working with clients on reservoir engineering projects across a variety of asset classes. in 2019 he moved back to his native UK to lead the EMEA Engineering Solutions sales team for S&P Global Commodity Insights.
