Head of the International Plays and Basins, Upstream Solutions
Clare Barker-White is the Global Head of the International Plays and Basins group within S&P Global Commodity Insights. The group delivers global basin-centric research focused on technical, commercial and strategic insights and upstream thought leadership.
Clare joined S&P Global in 2017 as a basin researcher focused on the Asia-Pacific region. Subsequently, she led the Malaysia-based research team providing global basin content for the Upstream EDIN product. Prior to joining S&P Global, she managed a reservoir services team, delivering technical expertise covering geophysical and global reservoir characterization workflows.
Clare holds a Bachelor of Science in geology from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, as well as a Master of Research and Ph.D. specializing in carbonate sedimentology from Royal Holloway University of London, United Kingdom.
