Platts to publish US dollar conversion for daily China Nickel Sulfate assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will publish a nickel sulfate calculation in $/mt, as a direct US dollar conversion from its existing daily DDP China nickel sulfate assessment in Yuan/mt, effective July 1, 2022.

The currency conversion will mirror the specifications of the existing DDP China nickel sulfate assessment in Yuan/mt, with minimum 22% nickel content and maximum 100 ppb magnetic material. The daily calculation will follow the Singapore publishing schedule.

The new calculations will be published in the Platts Metals Daily, Platts Metals Weekly, Platts Metals Monthly and Platts Battery Metals Weekly publications, Platts Metals Alert pages MW8887, MT8887, ST8887, MT0663, on the Metals service on Platts Dimensions Pro and in the Platts price database.
