April 22, 2025
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue eight of its Japan hydrogen pump price assessments, effective July 1, 2025.
The discontinuations will simplify the Platts portfolio of hydrogen pump assessments. This will leave the Japan Metropolitan H2 Pump Price (HYPUN00), and the US dollar-denominated variant (HYPUM00), as the remaining Japan hydrogen pump price assessments.
The discontinuations affect the following assessments:
Symbol | Description | Value |
HYPUH00 | Japan Chubu H2 Pump Price | Yen/kg |
HYPUJ00 | Japan Chugoku and Kyushu H2 Pump Price | Yen/kg |
HYPUL00 | Japan Kinki H2 Pump Price | Yen/kg |
HYPUP00 | Japan Tohoku H2 Pump Price | Yen/kg |
HYPUG00 | Japan Chubu H2 Pump Price | $/kg |
HYPUI00 | Japan Chugoku and Kyushu H2 Pump Price | $/kg |
HYPUK00 | Japan Kinki H2 Pump Price | $/kg |
HYPUO00 | Japan Tohoku H2 Pump Price | $/kg |
These assessments appear on the fixed pages CLE4102 andETA3001, and in Hydrogen Daily.
