Proposed discontinuation of some weekly methanol

Following an internal review, Platts is considering discontinuing the weekly European and US methanol assessments currently published on Platts Petrochemical Alert page 398 and the weekly Platts Solventswire.

The affected assessments are basis FOB Rdam in Euro/mt and FOB USG in $/mt converted from cents/gallon. The other daily and weekly US and European methanol assessments published on PCA 540, 541, 346, 347 and the Europe & Americas Petrochemical Scan, will not be affected by this change.
