Sharon Vidal is the Global Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability for Illumina.  Since joining Illumina in 2016, Sharon has led the CSR program evolution embedding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) into the global business.

Sharon Vidal is the Global Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainability for Illumina.  Since joining Illumina in 2016, Sharon has led the CSR program evolution embedding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) into the global business.  Sharon has over 25 years’ experience working on multi-disciplinary environmental, health, safety, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility programming.  She has a strong background in the life science industry and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UCSD. In addition, she holds Executive Certificates from NYU Stern School of Business in Corporate Sustainability and Berkeley Law Executive Education in Sustainable Capitalism & ESG.
