Onno Steins is senior policy adviser on prudential regulation at the Dutch Banking Association, responsible for supporting and influencing the decision-making process on the implementation of Basel 4 in the EU. Onno has extensive experience in the financial industry as well as in the field of industry advocacy. Having worked for both small domestic and large internationally active banks, such as Van Lanschot Kempen, Rabobank and ABN AMRO. Onno has all round experience with many facets of the risk management profession. 

Onno has a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science from the Eindhoven University of Technology.
