Ioannis holds a Bachelor in Mathematics awarded by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master’s Degree in Statistics awarded by Athens University of Economics & Catholic University of Leuven.

Ioannis holds a Bachelor in Mathematics awarded by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Master’s Degree in Statistics awarded by Athens University of Economics & Catholic University of Leuven. He joined Piraeus Bank on April 2007 as a Head of Retail Credit Risk Division. In 2017, Ioannis took over as Deputy Chief Risk Officer before taking his current role as Group Chief Risk Officer in 2020. He has also worked in National Bank of Greece as well as in the consulting services.
