Alessandro Lolli (Rome, 1966). Head of Intesa Sanpaolo Group Treasury and Finance Department since December 2018, reporting to the Group CFO. Graduated with honors in Economics at La Sapienza University of Rome in 1990; in 1999 attended the Middle Management Banking Programme at Insead in Fontainebleau.

Graduated with honors in Economics at La Sapienza University of Rome in 1990; in 1999 attended the Middle Management Banking Programme at Insead in Fontainebleau.
After a short period at Banco di Sicilia as credit analyst in 1991, he worked in the Treasury Department of Istituto Mobiliare Italiano, holding various positions as derivatives trader and financial engineer until 1998, when he was appointed Head of the Foreign Treasury & Derivatives. In 2000, following the merger with Istituto Bancario Sanpaolo of Turin, he assumed responsibility for Derivatives & Structured Transactions; subsequently he became Head of Group's Asset Liability Management.
After the merger with Intesa Sanpaolo, he was appointed Head of Group Active Value Management & Structured Transactions. From 2014 to 2018 he was Head of the Group Planning, Capital Management & Strategic ALM.
In December 2018 he took the current position, which includes: Treasury, ALM, Funding and strategic transactions (eg. buy-backs; stock options). He manages a team of 230 people, based mainly in Milan but also in the main international financial centers (New York, London, Paris, Singapore).
He’s voting member in the Group ALCO Committee and serves as technical support member of the Executive Management Committee.
